Is the national carrier of Thailand, the airline was formed in 1988 and it is a founding member of the Star Alliance. It operates from Bangkok, hence almost all flights transit at Bangkok airport before heading to its destination. The Thai national carrier serves pretty decent inflight meals.

Qatar Airways rose to fame when it found itself in the top ten airlines in Skytrax last year and the World's Best this year. The flag carrier of Qatar is based at Doha Interantional Airport. Airfares to Europe are comparable with that of Emirates and Etihad. Formed in 1993, the airline is fairly young and it operates one of the youngest fleet in the world.

Perhaps most well-known for the Singapore Girl, the national carrier of Singapore is also known for a list of breakthroughs in the aviation industry since 1947. The airline was first to offer complimentary drinks and headsets to its passengers as well as a choice of meals on economy class. Furthermore, the airline was the first to provide satellite-based telephones on board, install VOD in First and Business Classes and most recently the first airline to fly commercial flights on the A380.

Tiger Airways commenced service in 2005 and it is partially owned by Singapore Airlines. Its cost structure is based on Ryanair and it is the first airline to operate out of Singapore's Budget Terminal.
