City Hall, Seoul, Korea
After spending hours waiting for a bunch of people who left without notice, we gave up waiting and decided to look for dinner round the corner of Seoul Plaza. We found a cosy little eatery located just next to the entrance to Deoksugung, the Myeongdong Noodle House. It was near closing when we dropped by and it was our luck that we came across this eatery.
The noodle here was great, the Dubuguksu (두부국수), also known as Tofu Noodles (4000 KRW) was exceptionally delicious, the soup was robust and flavourful and the noodles’ texture was great, springy and smooth and doesn’t stick to the teeth. The generous serving of spring onions and delicate tofu topped with some hot spicy sauce makes this an enjoyable dish.
My friends had the Rice Topped with Barbeque and Vegetables (5000 KRW) and Radish Leaves Kimchi Noodles. Both of which are decent, the rice for example, had a nice smoky aroma.
