Glenn managed to convince me to try out this chain patisserie in Hong Kong years ago when he first posted about it in his blog.
This time round, I finally got to taste their
Crème Brulee for myself. These were prepared beforehand and upon ordering, the staff would take one of these out from the chiller and torched it for you.
Hence, there is a contrast of temperature and the encased within the freshly formed warm, caramelized crust is velvety smooth, creamy custard packed with vanilla flavour without being overbearingly sweet. This was really good.
On top of that, the price was
affordable and you get to keep the rustic looking ceramic ramekin.
