It was early in the morning and most shops and cafes were closed and we didn’t want to venture too far in case we miss our ferry to Macau. Turbojet now departs from Kowloon Terminal to Macau too but it is more like a code-share kind of thing.
So we settled for Park Deli at Royal Pacific Hotel which is located near the departures and arrivals area of the Ferry Terminal. The breakfast took quite a while to arrive but the wait for well worth it.
I had the Russian Borscht with Scrambled Eggs and Ham. It also comes with a croissant. The scrambled egg was pretty good, it was creamy with and has nice buttery flavour, and the ham gave it a savoury touch.
The Russian Borscht is basically macaroni in a rich tomato stew. Quite a heavy start for breakfast but it was rather decent. All these came in a set together with a choice of tea or coffee. I felt it was affordable for a hotel breakfast. Have you seen Hyatt Regency Sha Tin’s or Fullerton’s?
A Park Deli Breakfast: 49 HKD (roughly 8-9 SGD)
