Boulangerie MASH Kyoto : Tough Bread to Crack

This bakery seemed quite popular with the locals, we saw people bothering to cycle here even while it was raining just to buy bread and some of the bread was sold out when we arrived.

The bakery scored a 3.45 rating on the Japanese food review website r.tablelog.com.

Bread Roll with Bacon and Black Pepper (200 Yen) was a peppery, chewy (bacon) and tough. The Garlic Toast (120 Yen) was tasty with all that garlicky fragrance with a bit of spice. However, we were not impressed. Both of them were too tough. Perhaps these are not their WOW items?
