SQ 12 | Singapore - Tokyo Narita

Singapore Airlines. A380. This is my first time on our national carrier’s big bird.

To be honest, I was surprised by how spacious an economy class seat was on the upper deck of the A380, there is even a compartment by the window to put your jacket or shopping bag and for me a nice naturally lit space to take photos of the food.

The flight SQ 012 is an indirect flight to Los Angeles via Tokyo Narita and it was a full flight. It was not the most comfy of flights I had but SQ do pamper you with plenty of food.

For Lunch, I picked the Japanese menu (supposedly planned by Yoshihiro Murata from Kikunoi, Kyoto)

For airplane food, this was pretty decent and it was the first time I encounter beef in this form on a flight.
