1st June 2013.
I have been playing around with vintage travel posters, Hergé’s Tin Tin comics or Guy Delisle’s illustrations and this one is about Afternoon Tea in “Raffles”. However, I myself haven’t been to Raffles Hotel’s Tiffin Lounge for afternoon tea before, so there is a huge amount of artistic freedom here. I like afternoon teas. It is when I can relax and enjoy a good chatting session with my friends (but it is not cheap and we are often busy), so having a good afternoon tea is such a rare treat. Basically, I enjoy moments when stress and work is out of the picture, so a cup of earl grey and some home baked scones with my friends is just as great.
For this afternoon tea, I was looking the food at Ritz Carlton Singapore’s Chihuly Lounge, and Ritz Carlton Tokyo’s Lobby Lounge. Once again, would be great to able to have afternoon tea at the these places…someday.
And I have finally put together a few works in a makeshift portfolio too.
