27th December 2012.
Seoul, South Korea.
One of my friends commented that Jang Soo Galbi looked and smelled really good the last time we ate chicken next door. So just before I fly back Singapore, I dropped by Jang Soo Galbi again to try it for myself.
Pricewise, this was rather expensive in Korean terms as you could easily get a lot more banchan and even rice for 8000 KRW. Nonetheless, the galbi here is really tasty. The meat was very tender and the marinade was really good, the meat has soaked up the flavours well and I enjoyed the sweet, finger-licking good marinade a lot. It is best enjoyed by wrapping the meat with the lettuce provided and consume it with some garlic and gochujang. Delicious!
