Melaka : A Majestic Breakfast

Breakfast was included in the rate and it was part of the experience of staying the Majestic as well.

The Mansion, the in-house restaurant of the Majestic offers a cascades breakfast service where you start off your breakfast with a variety of breads, fresh fruits, etc offered at the buffet counter while hot items such as Scrambled Eggs and French Toast were made a la minute.

The bread and pastries were only so-so but I thoroughly enjoyed the porridge.

For the hot items, I had the Majestic Omelette, an omelette prepared with cheese, smoked salmon, onion and spring onions. This is probably one the best omelette I had thus far. The slightly saltish, smoked salmon, the nicely done omelette, creamy melted cheese and fragrant spring onions was a harmonious symphony of flavours.

A choice of tea or coffee was offered too. They used BOH Teas, harvested from Cameron Highlands.

All these took place the beautiful colonial style setting at the Mansion.
