Paris, France. We had a train to catch in the morning and we were rather early. Instead of dining at one of those eateries in the station itself (some of which are very expensive), we headed opposite of the station where a few cafes were located for breakfast.
Both of us had the 7.30 Euro Petit dejeuner (breakfast) at Aux Villes du Nord which consisted of baguette with butter, croissant, omelette, orange juice and Lipton tea or coffee.
It is a simple but satisfying affair of bread and eggs in the morning. The croissants were huge and quite delicious!
The service was good and efficient. It is also a nice place to people watch if you opt for the seats facing the street. Menus are available in a variety of languages.
