Craving for a chilled dessert after half a day of cycling, the four Meese decided to drop by this Spartan-looking dessert stall that serves Taiwanese style snow ice dessert. Besides the usual items like Milk with Durians, Milk etc, there is a mix and match option in which you can choose your favorite ice base and add your desired toppings.
We had the Milk with Mangoes (4.00 SGD). The milky ice shavings are rather smooth and condensed milk was used in generous amounts (which we felt was too much). The portion was rather big for one person.
While it may not be as good as the one I had in Taipei, I thought 32 Degrees Farenheit had done a decent rendition of the dessert and it was reasonably priced. In fact, this version is the closest to the one I had in Taipei out of the three or four Taiwanese style shaved ice desserts I had in Singapore thus far.
