Waffles at Vanilla Cafe and Bar

Vanilla Café and Bar is one nice place to chill out. It felt so comfortable to be there that it is a dreadful environment for studies, makes me want to fall asleep. My only complaint about the place is the choice of music. I hope it is something more lounge like or soothing like Jazz, Classica, New Age or World Music.

Music aside, my studio mate and I decided to drop by Vanilla Café and Bar as we are searching for somewhere quiet and not too crowded. Vanilla Café and Bar fits the bill almost perfectly.

We had a Vanilla Dirt Cake (8.50+ SGD) which never fail to amuse.

We also had a Waffle with Ice Cream topped with Strawberries and Chocolate Sauce (10.00+ SGD). I felt that the waffle could afford to be thicker. Other than that, it was satisfying dessert. Crispy waffle with sweet vanilla ice cream and hint of fresh sourness from the strawberries, it was gorgeous for an afternoon dessert.

The service was friendly and I had a great time a Vanilla Café and Bar.
