Together with Jolene, Thomas and Quan You, we wanted to have a Japanese fare at Hachi Tei along Telok Ayer Street initially. However, the restaurant was closed due to the Easter Weekend.
We decided to go Botan instead. All of us did not regret patronizing Botan. The food portion was huge, I couldn't finish the rice. The food is average to slightly above average. I will come back for the value. I did not spot the Unagi Tamago on the menu that FoodSirens recommended =/.
*I just realized its not "Unagi Tamago" but "Umaki Tamago"

ReplyDeletehaha yeap it was a lot of food! people working around here are lucky to have this around, i heard it is very packed during weekday lunch hours.
ReplyDeletehaha. Can takeaway? :P
ReplyDeleteI did not ask the restaurant about it =p, you might want to try calling them. However, there are a few Jap stalls around the area that provides take-away Hachi Tei and Standing Sushi Bar, heard that are quite good and for Hachi Tei, quite cheap too.
