MUJI opened its 10th store and 2nd Cafe & Meal MUJI at Raffles City last month. I had the opportunity to be part of the opening by illustrating a piece for their limited edition canvas bag for the opening.
During the opening there was a Calligraphy Table featuring Sow In Love Calligraphy
Had a beautiful notebook written by her! She also attempted to draw my signature chicken.
Had dinner at the Cafe & Meal MUJI. I had the Baked Bak KuTeh with Honey Glaze, Roasted Sakura Chicken with Sesame Crust, Thick Omelette with Japanese-style Mushroom and Prawn & Edamame Salad with Spiced Mayo Sauce. Thought it was decent but a little on the steep side considering the portion. My favourite picks for flavour and texture goes to the Baked Bak Ku Teh and Sakura Chicken with Sesame Crust.
The Baked Bak Ku Teh is a tasty pork rib which comes with a sweet and yummy glaze. The Sakura Chicken is tender, juicy and loved that 'crispy', nutty and fragrant sesame crust.
