Grand Park Orchard : Moms Go Loco Local

Happy Labour Day, Mothers’ Day is coming soon and I found this in my mailbox. The Grand Park Orchard is celebrating Mothers’ Day with a “Moms Go Loco Local” event at their restaurant, Open House on the 11th and 12th of May.

The event features an All-You-Can-Eat local high-tea buffet on 10th/ 11th May priced at 30-33++ person from 12 noon to 4 pm depending on which day. Diners can look forward to steaming baskets of dim sum and local delicacies like Laksa, Oyster Omelette, Chicken Curry with Roti Prata, Otak Otak as well as a Popiah and Claypot Station serving Lap Mei Fan, Bak Kut The and Kung Pao Chicken. Desserts such as Durian Pengat and Nyonya Kueh are available too.

However, the special feature of the whole Mothers’ Day Experience is an exclusive invitation to a pop-up local fashion showcase at the hotel’s Presidential Suite. The pop-up boutique features works by local designers such as Jo Soh of hansel, Sven Tan & Kane Tan (the designers being In Good Company), Saloni Shrestha, Carolyn Kan and Goh Ling Ling. Grand Park Hotel Orchard is not alone in the celebration of Mothers’ Day, other Grand Park Hotel properties such as Indulge at Park in Grand Park City Hall also offers international buffet with goodies like a bottle of bird’s nest for mummies. The Park Hotel Clarke Quay’s Brizo Restaurant & Bar is more family friendly with an international Lunch Buffet featuring a Kids menu and a complimentary stalk of carnation and an instant photograph.
