It is finally that day of the year again, although technically it does exist until 2016. But if there is one day that I really give it to myself for a break. It is my own birthday.
I ate quite a few this year, treated myself to Salt Tapas and Bar with my remaining vouchers a few days ago and had a memorable meal with my encik at Star Vista’s the Kitchen as well as a couple of sushi and onion rings at Velocity with Jia Yao.
Small gestures and in the age of Facebook, it is heartening to receive well-wishes from Jiayao, Vinleon, James, Quan You and my dear old encik. Thank you for remembering me on this particular day.
