I remember a time when Obolo is the much raved place to get macarons and cakes. Now it has branches everywhere now including cafes. Mu Yao, Calvin and I had desserts at Katong 112’s Obolo Patisserie Café on New Year's Eve and I was glad to see Sticky Toffee Pudding on the list of desserts.
Unfortunately, it was ordinary at best. It wasn't the rich moist sticky toffee that I was looking for, it was a little dry and I didn't like the pairing of the sticky toffee pudding with the rum and raisin ice cream.
Mu Yao and Calvin had the Molleux Au Chocolat Maracaibo and the Apple Crumble served with vanilla ice cream. Both of which were rather average too especially for that price around 12-14 SGD each after taxes.
