Bangkok, Thailand
Four hungry individuals were looking for breakfast around our guesthouse. The street was full of stalls but the boards and menu was scrawled with characters that seemed so alien to us.
In the end we let the universal language of aroma and visuals guide us. And we ended up with this.
Oyster Omelette?
No. It was Mussel Omelette, prepared by a animated chef and topped with some Chinese coriander and bean sprouts and served with Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce. It was awesome! It has that smoky fragrance and crunchy charred brown bits and the omelette itself was flavorful. What a hearty start for breakfast.
