Phuket, Thailand.
I didn’t know Wine Connection serves food, in Singapore that is.
But when we saw that there are desserts available in this restaurant cum wine cellar outlet in Central Festival Phuket, we decided to pop in for some food.
Our meal begun with a bread basket of an assortment of breads.
Ever since,
Cookyn Inc. I seemed to like mussels more than before, so we ordered a platter of
Gratinated New Zealand Mussels (140 THB) to share which was delicious. The meat was fresh and succulent. Together with cheese and herbs, it makes an addictive snack.
We also had the
Margarita Pizza (160 THB). The crust was thin and crispy and the tomato and cheese ratio was just right.
Then we had the desserts, the
Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream (100 THB) was slightly soggy and oily.
Vinleon whipped his
Chocolate Mousse (80 THB) clean. All the desserts were made beforehand and stored in the chiller including the Crème Brulee.
