Why must one spend so much to eat dessert when there are cheaper options available?

Located in a shop house and occupying two stories, seats are not readily available in Rochor Original Beancurd due to the huge crowd patronizing this eatery known for their beancurd. Expectedly, the place was quite crowded and noisy.

The Egg Tart didn’t impress me, I thought it doesn’t have enough egg flavour and the pastry wasn’t crispy or firm enough. It is just okay.

The Chilled Bean Curd (1.00 SGD) is what I enjoyed most here. It has a smooth silky texture and it dissolves in your mouth with a pleasant soya bean aftertaste making me scooping for more. The sweet syrup wasn’t too sweet or thick, the way I like it.

Don’t expect people to serve you here because it is self-service.
