It has been a long time since I visited Marmalade Pantry. The last time I had it was a lunch at Oasia Novena and it was unmemorable. I found the prices a little steep and the standards were down. I visited the Marmalade Pantry at Orchard ION last weekend with two friends about an hour before closing time.
The Affogato was nice but the Classic Bake Apple Pie , was dry and tasteless even though it was a big portion. We also had a Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake which was just okay.
The staff while very gracious to accommodate us near closing time, the request for water and orders took a long time arrive. A group of diners at next table next to us had their food and drinks much earlier than us despite coming in later.
