The Harvest of the Sea Buffet has been running at the Spices Cafe located at the Concorde Hotel for a long time. Besides a generous seafood spread, one of the features of the buffet is a complimentary serving of baked half lobster or braised baby abalone with broccoli and mushroom.
Their complimentary baked lobster gratin. There is a sambal and cheese option, we recommend going for the cheese option.
Another feature of the buffer is the a la carte crab buffer. Above is a Saffron Crab, which reminds me of the rich saffron risotto I had in Milan. It is pretty decent if you are okay with saffron flavour. The sauce is very fragrant and resembles a creamy cheese sauce.
Classics like the Chili Crab is always on the menu, a tad sweet. If you are like my friend who loves his belachan and shiok sambal stingray, the spiciness of this dish will disappoint you. Otherwise, it just needs some really good mantou to go with this dish. Other flavours on the menu includes the black pepper, salted egg yoke and white pepper crabs.
Some people had seconds for the oysters.
The satay was pretty good!
Baked Red Snapper & Mussels in Cream Cheese Sauce as well as the Roasted Leg of Lamb with Garlic Sauce was not bad.
Steamed Garoupa with Garlic & Glass Noodles was very tasty but on the salty side.

Mondays to Thursdays : 53++ SGD per adult and 22++ SGd per child
Fridays to Sundays, PH eve and PH : 58++ SGD per adult and 22++SGD per child.
Considering the ala carte buffet + international buffet spread, it is quite a decent deal. Another added bonus is that the place tends to be a little quieter compared to the more popular buffet hotels.
