Cathay Pacific
14:00 - 15:15
Cathay Pacific operates a single flight from Singapore to Bangkok every day, the timing isn't one of the best compared to Singapore Airlines or Scoot. The flight is about 2 hours long but they still serve a full meal service. There were three options, I opted for the Braised Veal Cheek, Barley and Vegetable Risotto. Braised items or stews are normally the safer choices for an airplane meal where meat tends to come out too dry. This was okay, the meat is still quite tender but it was a little bland. the meal ended with a cup of Haagen Diaz ice cream and I also ordered a Hong Kong style milk tea. Soon after, we are in Bangkok.
This flight features their "new" regional business class product which was introduced in 2015. You can check it out here and here. It also comes with a premium lane ticket for immigration at the airport. On a less crowded day, the normal lanes might be faster than the premium lanes which had a long queue.
