October 2013.
Located along the way to school, Adam Food Centre is one of the breakfast/lunch spots whenever I travel to school with my dad. This modest little food centre is home to several Malay and Indian food stalls specially Selera Nasi Lemak Stall.
At Adam Food Centre, nasi lemak aside, I had a pretty good bowl of Lontong at Nasi Singapura House of Lontong which supposedly specialize in Lontong. Their lontong was quite fragrant and rich. Most importantly, the vegetables were just nice for me, thoroughly cooked but still retains a bit of crunch.
I also had their Beef Rendang with rice which I thought was just okay.
Another stall where I enjoyed their food is the Adam Road Fish Ball Noodles. If you are not planning to have their fishball noodles, you could give their Laksa a try too. Their laksa is quite fluid with a little rich on the coconut milk side. However, the portion is generous and packs enough punch for me.
Lastly, there is always You Ji Duck Rice here. Priced at 3.50 SGD a plate, their Happy Duck Rice comes with a bowl of soup along with a number of accompanying ingredients such as tofu, groundnuts etc. Tastewise, not bad too.
