The feu de joie or “fire of joy”, is a rifle salute presented by the Guard of Honour contingents after the inspection by the president in the National Day Parade. As part of Singapura Images, this piece pays homage to the food bloggers in Singapore. The ra-ta-ta of cameras during a photo shoot was like a feu-de-joie. In a way, it was like paying respect to the chef.
The setting is Singapore’s Restaurant Andre, ranked 38th among the top 50 restaurants in world by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. Below is an earlier portrait layout.
