Beomgye, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Menmusha 멘무샤 or rather Menya Musashi is a Japan-based ramen chain named after Miyamoto Musashi, a legendary samurai. You can find them all around South Korea as well. I haven’t tried it in Singapore before but compared to the ramen I have tried so far, this was just plain bad.
In short, just stick to Korean rang myeon which is cheaper and more satisfying. Skip Menmusha unless you want very oily ramen with hard-boiled eggs. The noodles they used seemed factory made, they came entangled and lacked the slight springy texture I look out for in ramen. The broth itself was either too salty or lacked the fragrance from miso or the pork (or hopelessly drowned by the sesame oil), it tasted just like instant mee soup.
