Toger with Glenn from Hungry Epicurean, we visited this beautifully furnished restaurant that tries to recreate a garden atmosphere, complete with rustic wooden tables and warm, cozy lighting.
They serves an all-day breakfast menu to our delight (partly because the cheaper items are from the breakfast menu) .The other items are rather steeply priced, not to forget there is GST and Service Charge.
I had the Crabmeat Chowder as I was craving for something hearty. The chowder was okay with threads of crabmeat, kernels of corn and a a rather creamy texture. The portion is petite and it would have been better if there were more toasts to go with the chowder. Love how it was being served in a metallic container though.
The Pancakes, two pancakes with maple syrup drizzled over and dusted with icing sugar looked pathetic. The presentation was reminiscent of McDonald’s hot cakes.
All of us seemed to be disappointed in the serving portions and the food itself that didn’t seemed to justify the price we paid for. One thing is sure, they do well in aesthetics.

Hmmm, another mediocre review on Chef Pang's new venture. I'm going to strike it off from my list then :(
ReplyDeleteNice photos btw.
